Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Announces 2,800 Jobs for School Watchmen
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has unveiled a plan to recruit 2,800 chowkidars (watchmen) in schools across the province, offering new job opportunities for low-educated unemployed individuals.
The Finance Department confirmed that the recruitments have been formally approved and will follow a transparent, merit-based process through public advertisements and open competition.
Mansehra leads with the highest number of vacancies at 377, followed by Bannu with 263 posts, and Mardan with 256 positions. Peshawar will see 162 appointments, Laki Marwat 160, and Abbottabad 154 under the new recruitment drive.
