Punjab Launches Major Hiring Drive for DHQ and THQ Hospitals Across Province

The Punjab government has announced a fresh recruitment drive to fill key medical and administrative positions at District Headquarters (DHQ) and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospitals across the province.

A spokesperson for the Health and Population Department said the hiring process is being carried out under special initiatives launched by Chief Minister Punjab to strengthen healthcare delivery in public-sector hospitals and improve patient services.

According to officials, applications are being invited from qualified and experienced professionals for a wide range of roles. These include hospital administrators, clinical coordinators, consultants, anesthesiologists, medical officers (male and female) and dental surgeons.

The spokesperson added that appointments will be made on the basis of professional experience, with salaries offered under an experience-based banding system to attract skilled candidates.

Interested applicants have been advised to apply through the official Health Department online portal at hspp.pshealthpunjab.gov.pk. The last date to submit applications is January 10, 2026.

Officials said the recruitment aims to ensure the availability of trained medical staff and improve healthcare services across Punjab.
