PSB Moves Against Sports Federations Over Repeated Policy Breaches
The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has initiated action against several national sports federations over alleged ongoing violations of the National Sports Policy, according to local media reports.
Sources say the PSB has issued final notices to three federations — Judo, Sailing, and Taekwondo — citing repeated non-compliance with established regulations. The board has shown serious concern over the continued disregard for policy guidelines.
Officials revealed that some office-bearers in these federations have already completed two consecutive terms, a direct violation of the national policy. Despite earlier warnings and opportunities for reform, the federations reportedly failed to take corrective measures.
The PSB has now instructed the concerned officials to step down within seven days. Authorities made it clear that this directive is final and must be followed without delay.

Failure to comply, sources warned, could result in strict action, including sanctions, suspension of activities, or other restrictions against the federations. The move signals a tougher stance by the PSB to enforce transparency, accountability, and proper governance in Pakistan’s sports sector.
